101 Great Sporting Moments

A “no-hitter” is the holy grail for a baseball pitcher. It happens very rarely, espescially when you consider all 30 MLB teams play 162 games each (not counting playoffs and exhibitions) and have done so for over a century. Anyone who pitches a no-no is considered a great.

Then there is Doc Ellis of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The man pitched a no-hitter in 1970, while tripping off his face on acid. The fucking legend.

Wouldn’t it be great if there was some sort of cartoon tribute to this amazing event? Why yes, yes it would!
